Job Description:
1. Evaluate
financing terms with various lessors and banks. Provide innovative ideas to
conclude deals.
2. Review
and provide inputs on commercial terms under the term-sheets and the operating
lease agreements
3. Model
Aircraft cost matrices and perform other ad-hoc analysis like– Fixed v/s
Floating rentals, lease & FHA extensions, Engine fleet management.
Conceptually understand refinancing instruments like Fixed and Floating bonds
and be able to model them
4. Modeling
engine maintenance reserves for aircraft and assist in maintaining accumulated
balances for cash SR & LC and getting an annual amendment of SRLCs done. On
a monthly basis, check utilization reports and send calculations to Lessors.
5. Deal
with the financiers for lease amendments, novations.
6. Analyze
and recommend interest rate hedging strategies
7. Analyze
feasibility of the refinancing/bond option with the banks
8. Analyze
key contracts from commercial perspective and provide recommendations
Qualification/Experience: Looking for motivated
individuals for an opportunity in Aircraft Financing vertical at IndiGo
airlines with following skill sets:
- Educational experience and Skills: MBA in Finance from Premium
institute with 1 year+ post MBA experience in Financial/Analytical domain.
- Skills required: Financial modelling skills,
Analytical ability, Strong work ethic, Attention to detail.
- Other relevant skills (not mandatory): CFA any level, any exposure to
contracts, any experience of working with CXOs, Experience with working
with multiple internal stakeholders.
