JOB PURPOSE

Operation & Maintenance of Security & Surveillance systems of Airside Landside at RGIA in a safe cost effective manner with adherence to the rules of BCAS.

To Manage the Operations and Maintenance activities of IGIA Baggage Handling System (BHS), Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) & Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) as per customer expectations and OMDA requirements in compliance with ICAO, DGCA, BCAS and TSA regulations along with maintaining the Serviceability and Availability above 99%

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The main objective of Senior Engineer –Airport systems is to work in close coordination with Airline & GHA’s on shift basis to maintain agreed serviceability & availability levels.

Supporting improvement Projects & Maintenance related works.

Identifying root cause of recurring faults and preparing RCA’s on same.

Conducting regular training programs for various stakeholders (Airlines/ GHA’s, Operations etc) to imbibe best practices.

Maintaining Serviceability >99 %. Analyzing data for Condition Based Monitoring.

Reduction in Operational cost by reducing spare consumption & optimizing power usage by implementing various power saving measures on shift basis.

SLAs monitoring, identification of non-compliances, preparation of documents for audits & closure of observations, SI and Zero tolerance.

Reviewing existing SOP’s and suggesting new SOP’s as and when required.

Continuous participation in key quality initiatives like CIP, 5S, Kaizen, EnMS, BLIP & Cost Containment.

Monitoring all electro-mechanical installations for healthiness.  Plan & review of Maintenance Schedule to improve equipment reliability by increasing the mean time between failures (MTBF) and reducing the mean time to repair (MTTR).

Preparation of Weekly MIS Report on System Availability & Serviceability. Analyzing trend with historic data.

    Experience of at least 3 – 5 years with relevant experience in Airport System Packages ( Baggage Handling Systems,Passanager Boarding Bridges§ & Visual Docking Guidance System)
