Minimum 10 years of experience in Airline’s RM/ Pricing/ Distribution with
exposure of RM system and team
Job Overview
The person will be
responsible for overseeing OD RMS and to have an experience on Revenue,
Pricing, fare filing and codeshare/ inventory allocation in JV scenario. The
person will handle the project like OD RMS, NDC, Distribution and JV under
distribution and RM System/Project.
Key Responsibilities
To provide expert advice on both processes
and RM tools
Lead and manage design and implementation
of portfolio of systems and solution required by RM to achieve company’s
revenue objective and KPI including RASK
Discussion with GDS and work upon
traditional and new modes of distribution mechanism for Vistara
To Manage the strategy of business process,
system development to deliver the dependable solution to RM team
To facilitate the revenue generation
capabilities of the company while ensuring that these systems or its successor
equivalent, are operating at optimal settings
To help ensure correct working of RMS, and
that this is running in an optimal setting – forecasts, system parameters, etc.
To implement and manage the project under
DRM related with distribution and RM system
Manage the cost/ negotiation and efficiency
of tool used in distribution and RM system
Preparation/ modification of flow models/
SOPs for RMS/ Distribution
Owning the application infrastructure
including business requirement, specification for software vendors and
maintain/ manage RM/ GDS system
Skills & Attributes
Knowledge and experience on handling/
working on RM system
Knowledge of Airline’s pricing structure in
FSC model/ ATPCO/ Interline pricing along with distribution etc.
Knowledge of the challenges faced by Airline
with exposure of OD System working environment
Knowledge of Airline reservation system and
Revenue Integrity Solutions
Experience of distribution function including
RI will be added advantage
Strong IT skills and experience on working
with large data set
Communication – verbal, written and
presentation skill
Networking - Facilitation & cross
functional group moderation
Strong leadership and management skills
Strategic and analytical thinker
